Toilet Grab Bar Installation Instructions:

Side Wall - As illustrated below, the side wall grab bar must be a minimum of 42 inches long, and located a maximum of 12 inches from the rear wall. It must also extend a minimum of 54 inches from the rear wall. The bar should be mounted 33-36 inches from the floor.

Rear Wall - As illustrated below, the rear wall grab bar must be a minimum of 36 inches long and extend from the centerline of the toilet a minimum of 12 inches on one side and 24 inches on the other side. The bar should be mounted 33-36 inches from the floor.
